South Africa wine tour: safari photos

Here are some large size pictures from the safari that can be included in our wine tour to South Africa. Wildlife photos and photography from the safari lodge. All pictures are from one two-day stay at the private game reserve.

On our wine and food tour to South Africa there will be plenty of opportunities the enjoy the magnificent countryside as well as the wild animals in the country. But we are of course focussing on the South African wines and the gastronomy.

If you really want to get up close and personal with the South African fauna then you should sign up for our add-on safari module that we offer on our tours to this country. the safari package includes two exciting days of exploration with four safari excursions. you will have the opportunity to discover the animals in their natural habitat in the safe hands of a wildlife ranger. One can never be absolutely sure to see all the “big five” elephant, lion, rhinoceros, leopard, and buffalo) but chances are good. When we were there we saw four out of five! And we don’t mind coming back again to see the buffaloes. But there are many, many other animals too!

The safari lodge where we stay is a wonder of comfort and luxury in the middle of the wilderness. Your “room” is in fact an independent bungalow, with a totally private terrace. Well, you cannot be sure not to be seen by the wild animals of course. You have your own sun-deck, private mini-pool,outdoors (and indoors) bathroom etc. Relaxing luxury. The stay at the safari lodge in the game reserve includes everything (except alcoholic beverage, massage, and other extras that can be ordered). You are very well taken care of.

Check our current scheduled wine tours to see if we have a South African wine tour on the schedule at the moment or read the sample itinerary under Popular Destination. Or perhaps you would like to book an entirely custom made South African wine tour?

You can also take a look on our page with travel pictures from the vineyards we visit, the lunches, and the towns we visit on the wine and food tour to South Africa.

All the photos on this page were taken at one single two-day visit at the game reserve. It is all our own original photography. We came home with quite a few pictures.
