James Halliday is one of Australia’s best know wine personalities and wine writers. He has written several books and launched an ambitious wine magazine a few years back called, of course, James Halliday Australian Wine Companion. It also has a web site full of wine information.

BKWine launches winter wine and food tours
The wine and food tour specialist BKWine has launched the coming winter’s wine and gourmet tours. There are two tours to New World wine countries: Chile and Argentina in South America in February, and South Africa in March. Both tours extend over a bit more than ten days. They include several winery visits, gastronomic meal, and also other sights and experiences on these two long-range tours.

It is just a pity that one sees the magazine so rarely here in Europe. It is an excellent publication.
