A while back we received a short enthusiastic email from one of our guests on the wine tour to Piemonte that we had this autumn.
The tour was in October and included several wine visits with wine tastings, some gastronomic Italian lunches, two of which were with the legendary white truffle from Alba, one truffle hunt safari, and several winery visits of course. Plus, for those who wanted, a visit to the truffles market in Alba. Shopping time?
This is the sort text in the mail. We received it shortly after Britt had been named Wine Personality of the Year in Sweden, hence the “congratulations”:
Congratulations Britt – you are, as always, the best!!!! We missed you in Piemonte! It was a superb trip, I could not be more satisfied with it!!!! What wines, what food, and what people!!!!
